Regelbau constructions ranged from small machine gun bunkers to huge submarine pens with walls 5 meters thick
The standardized building (Regelbau) was a German term for pre-planned bunkers, built during World War II. Each bunker's position would be carefully considered, taking into account the intended role and armament for zones of fire and ranges, before finalising what type would be built.
